Encaustic Classes in Austin

The $75 fee for each class includes all materials (panels, found objects, medium and pigment) and is a hands on experience of embedding materials into hot molten wax..learning how to make your own medium, setting up your studio and information about where to buy supplies. The monotype classes will include printing onto various types of paper with encaustic medium and pigment and though...very exciting and somewhat similar to the experience of painting directly onto a panel..it is surprisingly different.
