part time in New York...that's coming soon. New York will provide an area to work on a series of large scale panels. They will be placed together to create a piece 12' long. Watch it grow bigger!! Leonardo Drew is such a major influence. I just love his work.
The opening reception for the show was February 4th; however, the exhibit will be up until February 21st. Over 20 pieces of my encaustic artwork are on display in this exhibit along with Ed Lindlof's spectacular sculptures ...each of my works combine found objects and encaustics on wood panels. The show has received wonderful press as for as New York...and many great reviews! 7300 Hart Lane, Austin, TX...JCAA (Jewish Community Association of Austin)
Encaustic Classes will be held in my studio beginning in January. For everyone interested, please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
The classes have been extended and will be from 10-2p.m. with all materials furnished. Fee for the introduction class will be $90 per person.
Two weekends this year...lots of people and no shortage of sales. Thanks to all the patrons, critics, friends and colleagues...
Please join me on October 24th for the opening at G Gallery in Houston, Texas located at 301 E. 11th Street (713-869-4770) My new encaustic works will address changes in technology as well as recycling the old into the new. Works on paper and embedded recycled and obsolete media components will be used in all the pieces and will be the backdrop/solo show supporting The Squeaky Wheel Project.
