Opening Night at Bay6 Gallery

Bay6 Gallery and Studios opened its doors for the first time with a huge success. The three artists presented were myself, caroline wright (http://www.carolinewrightart.com/) and darvin jones (http://www.darvinjones.com/)
Over two hundred people were in attendance with guests from the Austin area as well as many attending from other states. The demographic ranged from art collectors, museum docents and gallery owners to non artisans living in the neighborhood. Sangria and delicious appetizers were a hit but not as much an item of focus as the art itself.
Bay6 Gallery will host an artist talk on Sunday afternoon, May 18th from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Each of the artists will close the show with a 15 minute talk about their work, the process of creating and open their studios for preview. Champagne will be served and all are welcome.
